  WHAT I LIKED: At its centre, 'Doctor Strange,' is really just another simple, well-told superhero origin about a guy going from douchebag to hero; it just so happens to have a heavy side-order of dazzling world-building and mysticism.
  
  That's all brought to life extremely well by the production design and cinematography, and, when coupled with a few heady themes and the usual character focus, makes for a thoroughly enjoyable and engaging entry into the MCU.
  
  WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE: It is jam-packed with unnecessary exposition that often detracts from the more interesting elements of the movie.
  
  VERDICT: A film about character with a wonderful dollop of magic on the side, 'Doctor Strange,' is an engaging and thoroughly enjoyable entry into the MCU.
