    With its moments of jeopardy, tension and even horror, and its breathtaking, physical direction, Nolan's adaptation of The Odyssey is a cinematic spectacle like few others. But, by clouding Odysseus' wrongs until the end, its script fails to deliver an engaging character arc, or, crucially, translate its central themes about facing consequences in any impactful way.
