If I had to use 1 word to describe 'Personal Shopper', it would be "fascinating". This is one of those films that once you finish it, it will stick with you for a day or two. When I finished this film, I scoured the internet to find articles and discussion threads of people discussing not only the ending of the film, but also the themes that present themselves throughout the entire film. It is what I would call a "paranormal thriller for deep thinker's". The film itself is very well made and Kristen Stewart's performance is outstanding. One of my favorite female performances so far this year. My only real complaint about the film is that it has some inconsistencies with the way it uses technology during an ongoing text message conversation that occurs throughout the film. If you like deeper "thinking" films, then I would check this one out, but if you are just looking for a typical scary paranormal film, then this might not be for you.
