  • WHAT I LIKED: An innocent and beautiful love story; 'Love, Rosie' mostly succeeds in building two characters with real believable chemistry to hook you into the whole experience. This is thanks to a fairly well-built plot, as well as two sparkling leads who depict every turn of the story magically and with true conviction. Alongside that it deals with some interesting themes and consequently manages to dodge some of the cheesy chick-flick style that most modern alternatives strive for, and in the end you’ve got a pretty enjoyable and engaging rom-com.
WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE: The pacing is very off; starting delicately and then allowing big events to happen in sequence without real set-up or weight.
VERDICT: ‘Love, Rose’ is a success because of the chemistry that flows between its leads. Shame the flow is lost in its pacing.
