  I will be honest; The Lego Batman Movie (2017) was a bit of a letdown. Is it a good animated movie? Yes absolutely, but "The Lego Movie" was far better. Michael Cera's Dick Grayson/Robin was my favorite character with Will Arnett's Batman a close second. I greatly appreciated how well the film paid homage to the Batman lore and the many incarnations of Batman that we have seen over the year; it just wasn't as funny as I had hoped it would be. I did still enjoy the film, and I welcome more Lego movies, I just know now I need to lower my expectations slightly. I give The Lego Batman Movie (2017) a 7 out of 10.
