Everybody Wants Some!! (2016) is a new film by Richard Linklater, who directed the incredible Dazed and Confused. Everybody Wants Some!! (EWS) is very similar to Dazed and Confused in that it closely follows a group of students over a very short period. EWS is a very simple movie that keeps you entertained without the need for any major story arcs. EWS has a great cast, and the main group of guys has great chemistry together. I particularly want to call out Temple Baker, who plays Plummer; he had me laughing out loud every time he came on screen. Richard Linklater sets up a unique 80's setting that utilizes the fine details from the period to make you feel like you are in this setting with these characters. Overall, I enjoyed this film, laughed a lot, and plan to re-watch it again soon. I give Everybody Wants Some!! an 8 out of 10.0 member like this review.
