  • WHAT I LIKED: First and foremost, 'Fair Game,' is really an interesting learning experience, as it exposes the questionable activities of the US government leading up to the second Iraq war in a rather eye-opening fashion. This is only successful as a film though because you're engaged in the personal story that's playing out within all of that, and there 'The Bourne Identity,' director Doug Liman works his usual fast-paced magic to create something gritty, character-driven and investing that focuses on the characters as much as it does the politics.
WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE: It could have been a grittier and more challenging portrayal, but that's clearly not Liman's style, and what's done here definitely works overall.
VERDICT: An interesting but equally engaging film, 'Fair Game,' is another Doug Liman picture where serious politics and tense human stories walk brilliantly hand-in-hand.
