I really enjoyed the back and forth between Eddie and Venom and some of the action sequences. What really hurts this film is it’s story and poorly written characters (other than Eddie). The villain is a typical villain with no originality and you could tell Michelle Williams was just phoning it in for a pay check. Other than Eddie the only character I liked was Jenny Slate’s Dr. Skirth, but the story didn’t explore her much or give her much to do.1 member likes this review.
