Venom has enough real
jokes that really land to save it from the ignominy it would have otherwise faced without any redeeming qualities. The film is poorly paced, thinly written, and other than Tom hardy, monotonously acted. The highlight of the movie is the intentional and unintentional humour, focusing on venom’s relationship with Eddie. Sometimes the movie’s so bad it’s great, other times it’s just not very good, and very few times does it work very well; however at the end of the day it IS an enjoyable ride, whether for the right reasons or not is up to you.1 member likes this review.
