Taylor Sheridan does it again! 'Wind River' is the third feature to be written by Taylor Sheridan (behind Sicario and Hell Or High Water, two of my favorites from recent years) and his first time directing a story he has written. 'Wind River' is a very slow and desolate movie. It is very much a character piece. But when it picks up it will blow you away. Elizabeth Olsen and Jeremy Renner both given outstanding performances and quiet possibly the best performances of both of their careers. The same goes for Jon Bernthal, while he is only in it for a few minutes, he gives an excellent performance that will stick with you long after the film ends. The score and the cinematography are also excellent. 'Wind River' is easily one of my favorite films of the years and Taylor Sheridan is now officially on my list of top up and comers in film.2 member like this review.
