  The Tree of Life is like a canvas painted with one stunningly beautiful color. When you ask the painter about the piece, he says “it tells a story.” You stare a while longer, then even longer, finally three hours have passed and you tell the painter, “I don’t get it.” The painter explains his story and you think ‘I suppose I can see that in the painting, it’s convoluted, but it’s beautiful to look at.’
