After the mysterious tractor related death of her husband (the entire reason I watched this film ladies and gentlemen), Martha (Maren Jensen) is left on the farm on her own. Her suspicions grow around the stage farming family next door; imagine an Amish community with a heavy dose of evil. Nightmares and murders follow; perhaps their wedding wasn't such a blessing after all?

While Deadly Blessing starts off slow, it pays off entirely during it's second act. Stylistic, Giallo-esque visuals, creepy cult farmers and a pre-Basic Instinct Sharon Stone make Deadly Blessing an absolute blast. It is far from perfect. The story is disparate and airy. Yet, a genuinely surprising plot twist brash ending make for a undeniably enjoyable horror flick with moments of genuine tension.
