  • WHAT I LIKED: A buddy-cop spoof with Mellissa McCarthy and Sandra Bullock directed by 'Bridesmaid's Paul Feig? You know the kind of thing you're getting with 'The Heat,' but frankly I like most of Feig's work more than most and don't think it deserves the kind of prejudice it normally gets, and this film is no exception. Yes with an engaging edge-of-your-seat story at its centre and some character relationships on top, this aint a half-bad romp - it's actually pretty good.
WHAT I DIDNT LIKE: ‘Spy’ may have just done all that great stuff just a teeny bit better…
VERDICT: Another fun and underrated film from Paul Feig, 'The Heat,' has all the heart and humour you could ask for from a buddy-cop spoof like this.
