I am a proud Star Wars fan. I will take Star Wars any-day over Star Trek;however,J.J Abrams brought something special to this iteration that was just undeniably fresh. Star Trek (2009) is an exploration in its own right; it explores several themes like, humanity, self-purpose, self-worth and learning to get up when you fall down, for this, the movie succeeds in providing a heart-warming and decidedly thoughtful adventure that surely doesn't scrimp on the action, character development and dazzling CGI.
