  SPOILERS: After the horrible part 2, "A Nightmare on Elm Street 3" comes back strong as my second favorite film in the franchise. It sticks very close to the original but adds a couple of new concepts to the Freddy character. I enjoyed how this film focused mostly on the dream world, much like the original did. The addition of connected dreams, which allowed different people to work together in the dreams, adds a welcomed new depth to the film's concept. I also really enjoyed how the film allowed the teenagers to have personality-driven dream powers to fight back against Freddy.
