  If there was an award for most improved movie franchise, Fifty Shades would deserve it. This film franchise has gotten consistently better with each movie, which is sad because the final movie was still not a good movie. If you've watched the other movies in this franchise, then you NEED to watch this movie. This movie will provide you with a great conclusion of what a decent Fifty Shades film could be. Otherwise, you've tortured yourself through the other 2 movies for no reason. On the other hand, if you have never seen a Fifty Shades film in your life, now is not the time to start. You will not appreciate anything about this film. You will not see it as a work of improvement, you'll just see it as a bad movie. I also feel like this is a franchise where you need to see the previous movies to understand the plot, because the story-lines are connected. Overall, I would not recommend this movie, unless you're already a "fan" of the Fifty Shades franchise. It's just not a good movie.
