  This remake takes that title to heart as Scorsese keeps the story simple and the camera fixed. The most dynamism you'll get here is a crash zoom.
  
  Compared to his other works, Cape Fear is an M&M among Ferroro Roches. It's not bad! The performances are captivating and the story is tense at times. Yet, there is no step forward from the original. Instead, Scorsese chooses to plant his feet in the footsteps of others. It's a decent watch but you will come out feeling dissatisfied.
