RoboCop is a brilliant satire which doesn't really need an introduction. The titular character is a giant in pop culture iconography. In fact, the entire movie is! It's likely that, even if one is viewing the film for the first time, you will recognise particular elements. Saying that, the film is not cosy or comforting. No, it is hyper violent and cynical. Luckily, it's all the better for it.
