  I was HYPED for this movie, and having watched it now I can say that this movie was AMAZING. The motion capture and visuals of this movie are flat out spectacular. Not once did I look at Caesar or any of the other apes and say "that's CGI". The action is also very well filmed and spectacular. Andy Serkis once again nails it out of the park in another Oscar worthy performance as Caesar. The movie also surprised me on it's comedic attempts, and I found myself laughing many times during this movie. The emotional level in this movie was very well realized and fantastic. The only issue for me is that the second act drags a little bit and can be a bit slow. War for the Planet of the Apes in the end delivered exactly what I wanted to see and I will give it a 9 out of 10.
