Casey Affleck gives a Best Actor and career best performance in Manchester By The Sea. But in one pivotal scene, Michelle Williams just gutted me emotionally; she's that good. This isn't a feel good movie by any means; it tackles themes of family, death and grief without being heavy handed. One of the best Independent films of the year.
