    You just don't get it.

I don't care what anyone has to say about this film I think it's phenomenal.
Visually, everything about this film is perfect. I went into this with no previous knowledge on this and found myself absolutely amazed at every structural decision made in this films creation. The most intriguing technical detail was having the dialogue so quiet. This left me feeling as though I was reading a really good book but add the fact that there is a visual representation of said book. Because of this detail I was able to really engage myself in this watching process. Despite following a narrative I was also able to interpret things from my own perspective and that was really cool.

Although I am not shocked at the negative reviews on this film I almost feel bad for the people that aren't able to appreciate and view this from my perspective because there are so many little details in this project that speak so loud they're almost invisible. I guess from a very critical point of view the idea of the plot/narrative could be considered boring or a sad excuse of "American white trash" but I think simplicity, especially in cases like this, is exactly what makes it so powerful and beautiful. There is something so captivating about simplicity in film. It's so loud but so quiet at the same time. Some of the coolest movies are just visually pleasing moving images that make you feel things and this was a super awesome example of that. Also the use of insects and live creatures as symbolism throughout this was really cool.

I could go on forever and dive into every single little crumb of a detail but I will save myself the genuine mental chaos that would cause me. Life is about perspective and It's these cinematic moments that encourage me the most to explore different angles. Ugh I am just fascinated at how such a "simple" plot can leave me with so much thought. Maybe I lack critical thinking skills in this department but every visual part of this film trumps every single other opinion in my eyes.

In the end I am reminded of why I love film.
