  This short film brought my girlfriend, who I watched it with, to tears of laughter. I, on the other hand, felt rather differently.
  
  This short film is a strange mixture of Lynch's comedic and sinister sides. These are usually mixed over the span of a feature length film, so the juxtaposition between the two isn't so noticeable. Here, the difference between the Bogart-like dialogue and the dismal, dark set is evident.
  
  The song at the end is pure Lynch and I adore it. The set is fantastic, the sound design is excellent, the expression of Jack is surreal but superb. However, I have to say, out of all of Lynch's works, this is the one I understand the least. To me, it appears to be a detective conversation but with animals.
  
  Perhaps I need to rewatch this and attempt to shift my brain. For now, I will content in my first viewing which was a surreal, humorous and heart-warming experience
