Well, I never thought I'd come across a film with a despicable third act even on my first watch the film itself is very promising but ended on the very disrespectful note. I'm honestly not going to spoil it but once you've seen it you will know what I mean. It's directed by the same director who did Nightcrawler who hasn't done that much of his directing work and stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Rene Russo and now they both appeared in Velvet Buzzsaw. An art critic Morf Vandewalt played by Jake Gyllenhaal, attends an art exhibition alongside his friend Josephina, who works for Rhodora Haze played by Rene Russo, the owner of the Haze Gallery. Josephina finds a dead man in her apartment building and enters his home to discover a myriad of paintings, some of which are partially destroyed. She steals the paintings to show Morf and Rhodora, who become fascinated with Dease. Rhodora decides to exhibit several of Dease's pieces in her gallery to great success. When I come across Velvet Buzzsaw the first time in my life I did not find it boring and know that the concept was going to be promising but from what I see is a horrible ending that just ended on a p***take note that p***ed me off when I didn't feel like raging but being disappointed by it. Jake Gyllenhaal's character nearly get me the impression like I thought he did but the performances are well acted, don't get me wrong, just the characters that didn't get that much impression for me. From what I saw online is that it's actually a black comedy horror which I didn't get why it's a comedy when it really didn't have any comedic moments but had horror in it. I mean, what are you trying to achieve from this? I mean, come on, Dan Gilroy, you got your success from Nightcrawler and then directed this bulls**t with a bulls**t ending? You know what, go f**k yourself, you c**ksucking fatherf**ker. I except much more from this movie but it p***ed me off a bit. I'm sorry, this is just not for me. ┌∩┐(◣_◢)┌∩┐
