Batman Begins is the film responsible for the resurrection of batman, and for that the film industry owes it everything. Coming off of Batman and Robin, the caped crusader had a tough task ahead of him: become relevant again. Christopher Nolan's sheer brilliance shines through in this well written, deftly directed crime thriller; and even with a bit of a rugged structure, the story manages to be endearing, compelling and a fine beginning to one of the greatest film trilogies of all time.1 member likes this review.
