With so many Oscar winners and nominees in this cast, the bar was raised considerably high for me. Clearly, I was expecting more. However, the emotional elements, at times, feel forced, contrived, heavily melodramatic--especially for its twisty ending. I guess with so much Oscar pedigree involved, everyone just showed up and got paid. Starpower! Writing and Direction are major culprits here. See American Beauty instead.
