Lion (2016) is the story of Saroo, a young man who goes looking for his family decades after he is separated from them at a young age. "Lion" is a heartfelt and slow film, but it is incredible and powerful at the same time. The films beautiful story is paired with breathtaking cinematography that sends you through a roller coaster range of emotions. The characters and performances were all incredible. Dev Patel (Saroo) and Rooney Mara (Lucy) had excellent chemistry together, but the real standout of the film is Sunny Pawar (Young Saroo). Every time you hear little Pawar say "Guddu," your heart just breaks. I give "Lion" a 9 out of 10.0 member like this review.
