What a fantastic film! Stunning chacterisation by all female leads , especially Saorsie. Took a classic novel and gave it a modern twist without losing the author’s originality. Costumes, scenery, musical score , acting etc combined to make this film remain with the viewer long after the end credits. People have made much of the back and forth device in this piece. I felt that it enhanced our understanding of each character and the decisions and routes they each took through life. Worth another watch. Should have won Best Film Oscar.
