  • Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom has a killer first act, drenched with heart thumping action and great philosophical debate. The second act steps down in quality, but it’s the third act that drowns the film in repetition, and ridiculousness.
The film is effectively a clone of Jurassic world, which is effectively a clone of Jurassic Park 2, a copycat of Jurassic Park. The franchise had a shot at newfound creative brilliance, and instead decided to mire itself in the same old routine to an ineffective narrative conclusion. The movie gets ridiculous to the point where it is in and of itself a joke, but J.A Bayona’s direction is always inspired, and his intentions pure; unfortunately it’s Colin Treverrow’s script that’s at fault here, but Bayona does his very best to realize Treverrow’s core ideas

Overall the first act is really quite incredible, it’s the rest of the film that’s forgettable and quite frankly stupid. I can however ensure you that you will have a good time at the movie theatre, and if that’s what you’re looking for, this is definitely the movie for you
