As any sequel should, Paddington 2 not only lives up to its predecessor but takes its plot and characters to new places. Paddington and the Brown family return along with a host of new characters, notably Hugh Grant's egotistical thespian Phoenix Buchanan and the fan favourite Knuckles McGinty played by Brendan Gleeson. The film, not only being a wonderful return to the slapstick comedy of the first film, also explores London, that fabled city which young cubs only dream of. Paddington 2 seems to capture the magical aire of London, through magnificent set design and fun heartwarming adventure. It fully lives up to the first installment and leaves you wanting more.
