A new and gritty take on a beloved American hero. Man of steel is by no means a perfect film; it has a rigid structure and poor pacing at times seeming like a squash of over theatrical nonsense. But at its core Man of steel is an interesting and exciting take on the comic book icon with a believable and terrific villain along with superb character development; not to mention heart stopping ferocious fight sequences that make Man of Steel a worthwhile experience
