This movie and it's feedback have been a very touchy subject for some people. I am here to express my own opinion, please don't hate. Suicide Squad was my number 1 most anticipated movie of the year, and while I was slightly disappointed, I had a ton of fun with this movie. Let me start off by stating some of the things I liked. The majority of the cast gives great performances, my favorites being Will Smith, Jared Leto, Jay Hernandez, Margot Robbie, Viola Davis, the guy who plays Killer Croc and yes, Jai Courtney, who is definately my favorite member of the Squad. Jared Leto's The Joker is fantastic, but his screen time is very minimal. Don't go into this movie expecting a whole lot of The Joker, because you will be disappointed. The introduction scenes are pretty cool, athough the way they were cut is a different story. The Batman scenes were terrific, especially the scene when he's not with The Joker and Harley. Also, the other cameo by a particular Justice League character is pretty cool. The chemistry between Jared Leto and Margot Robbie is great. The action is of course very good, and the soundtrack was AMAZING!! But the best part of the film is how the squad interact with each other. Now, although Suicide Squad is a fun movie, it is not without its faults. Joel Kinnaman is sometimes choppy at parts, but his performance isn't necessarily bad. But the area the film falls short on the most is with the plot. The plot mostly centers around the main antagonist, Enchantress, who is a HORRIBLE villain, probably the worst in recent memory. Every time the plot focuses on Enchantress the movie stops dead in its tracks. The third act also turns Suicide Squad into just another generic superhero movie finale, which is very unfortunate. The editing is also very poor, a complaint I also had about Batman V Superman. You can tell a lot was cut out of the film. If I have one tip for Warner Bros for the DCEU, it's to have faith in the directors. Let the directors make the film they wish to make. I give Suicide Squad a 6/10.
