From DC Comics comes the Suicide Squad, an antihero team of incarcerated supervillains who act as deniable assets for the United States government, undertaking high-risk black ops missions in excha...
This movie, just like the other DC films, has been very divisive, with critics panning it and audiences loving it. I can tell you that this movie is definitely better then both man of steel and BVS, but is still far from the great movie I wanted it to be. First, the positives. The proformances from the bigger characters were pretty good, especially Will Smith, Margot Robbie, and Viola Davis. The characters of Deadshot and Harley Quinn were really interesting and the movie really fleshed them out. Jared Leto as the joker did a good job portraying a joker we haven't see before. The movies visual style was really interesting, and was nice to look at. The CGI was overall pretty good, even if some things looked pretty fake. All of the actors on screen chemistry was very good. This movie was also just a lot of fun, which is I also found the action sequences, all 3 of them, pretty enjoyable. Now onto the cons, which sadly are major. To start, the villain sucked ass. It was just so generic and at times over the top. The musical cues were so on the nose and annoying. They were really detracting, and would be louder then the diologe at many times. The pacing at times was really slow. Nothing was really happening, and the characters just being there wouldn't be enough. The editing was just so so horrible. It seemed like a full length trailer, and it turns out the film was edited by the company that did the trailers. And I did have some story problems. Overall, even know I had some problems, I enjoyed suicide squad, and think it's the best movie to come out of the DCEU so far.
