Crazy Rich Asians EXUDES energy, elegance, and beauty while exploring intense themes of neo-classism, ostracism of diaspora and tradition v.s new age. The cast is talented yes, but boy are they gorgeous. Each character compliments one another, and the actors exemplify this with their chemistry. The set design is impeccable, the costume design unique and eye catching, and with John Chu’s eye for colour, the movie breathes vibrancy. The general narrative may be a bit general and predictable, but it’s the performances, the nuances and the underlying themes that make this rom com special.1 member likes this review.
