  This is the first part of the conclusion for this epic franchise. Even though we do see the progression and maturity of the characters, and the franchise as a whole; the film is simply too dull and joyless to live up to its expectations. Yes, it does have some bright moments where you do get interested in the film, however overall it doesn't live up to the previous installments in the franchise, and suffers greatly for being only the first half of a bigger story.
