It's been so long since I watched a Sunday night movie. For those unfamiliar, I see a Sunday night movie as a Spielberg-tyoe affair; tense, funny and overall enthralling for all the family. I think I really needed to watch a film like this, that ticks all the boxes and satisfies every customer. The ol' reliable. It's elegantly filmed by Howard with engaging performances from Hanks and his co-stars. Every red flashing button brings a new wave of dread, despite the common historical knowledge of Apollo 13. Fun, tense and a blast (off) for every human being.1 member likes this review.
