This is a great example of fantastic filmmaking technique. A stellar design team at work and exciting camera work make this a worthwhile watch. Logan Marshall-Green's performance is also both charming and humorous. However, and to excuse the pun, the film's plot needs an upgrade.
The film functions brilliantly as a fun b-movie but nothing more. It is almost better as a showcase of talent than a story in all honesty. The idea is straight out of a 2-for-1 deal on stories while the characters are far from sympathetic. But, to sit down with some friends and watch? The perfect evening.
