Shaun of the Dead is not just any horror-comedy. At its core, it's an emotionally-compelling journey of ordinary people's lives added with zombies. Edgar Wright effortlessly pokes fun at the genre, and at the same time pulls off a refreshing movie. Also, the gags and antics don't come over-the-top foolish. It's hilarious when it needs to be light. It's dramatic when it needs to be dark.1 member likes this review.
