  • This is the last of the star wars movies that I need to watch, (I might watch the prequals some day.) And I can tell you that I am excited for episode eight, because this is another great star wars movie. I'd say that is this my 3rd favorite star wars movie. To start off, this really feels like a star wars movie, with It's tone being just slightly darker then the original trilogy. I loved seeing all of the older characters return, and toy still love the characters. I also loved the new characters, and this movie was a great introduction to them. I can't wait to see more of Finn, Ray, Kylo Ren, and others, because there setups were so great, and the film got us to truly care about them. In true star wars fashion, the special effects are fantastic, and look as great as the first two. The script was one of the best I've seen in a blockbuster in a while. I also found the pacing to be very fast, but not in an annoying way. I didn't find a dull moment in this movie. As for problems, I can not pick and say that some characters CGI didn't look that good, but I only have one real huge problem with the movie. This movie, had almost exactly the same plot points as a new hope. Almost all of the first thirty minutes of the movie is almost exactly a new hope, just with some different diologe. Overall though, I did really enjoy the force awakens, and I'd this is around the same quality of most of the new star wars films, I'm sure as hell going to be in a theatre for Rouge One and episode eight.
