  I always feel just that little bit more disappointed when I watch a Purge movie because it is such a fun concept. It is begging for a schlocky, fun action movie full of unique gory kills. Instead, every time, it's creators attempt at a shallow political message alongside very basic characters just make for a film which purges all interest from the franchise.
  
  It's certainly better than the first film, a baffling beginning which decided to explore the Purge inside one home. Sadly, here we are met with another boring story with boring characters and, most tragically, boring action. There is one really well choreographed and directed action sequence in a stairwell and that is it. The First Purge is, ironically, the last Purge film I hope to see.
