How is it even possible for an X-Men flick to be that much bigger and feel so much smaller at the same time? (Insert that's what she said joke here)

X-Men: Apocalypse turned out to be the biggest disappointment in any of the X-Men films spearheaded by Bryan Singer. The arcs are flat and sometimes forced. The acting is uninspired. The special fx look second-rate. And the villain, who is supposed to be the biggest and baddest mutant in history, turns out to be the lamest and wasted potential at a villain since Ultron in the Avengers sequel.

This movie seriously felt like The Asylum took over the franchise. The main thing I couldn't stop thinking about while watching this was that it reminded me of how Mortal Kombat: Annihilation compared to the first Mortal Kombat. It simply felt cheaper and pointless.

Did I have a decent enough time watching this? Sure. But its not something I plan on watching ever again. If you stumble upon it, go for it. Or you can simply forget it even exists. Either way, your life will go on.
