"NERVE is essentially HACKERS for millenials," is what I posted on social media as I was watching the Dave Franco and Emma Roberts vehicle.

This is one of those films, much like Hackers, that will lose relevance with the passage of time. These movies are cool at time of release because they are a reflection of society and people are living what they're seeing on screen so-to-speak.

All of our actors are believable and enjoyable to see on screen. I thought casting choices were spot on. However, it almost felt like Roberts and Franco were simply playing themselves.

The story moves really fast. So fast that it doesn't even let you stop and think about how ridiculous the premise is. Like really? I'm surprised the NSA, CIA, FBI, or any other government agency wasn't already on top of this game.

I enjoyed the soundtrack. It added extra RPM to the already highly kinetic movie.

Even with it's preposterous premise and images that pander to millenials, I still managed to enjoy NERVE. However, I can take that dare and say that it won't age well.
