  • The four turtle brothers face a new threat when Krang and Shredder join forces in order to open a portal for destroying the world. We see Megan Fox and Will Arnett reprising their roles, and we also see some new faces including Stephen Amell, Laura Linney, Sheamus, Gary Anthony Williams and Tyler Perry.

There is no doubt that this movie is better than its predecessor due to a number of reasons. First of all, the turtle power is more evident and showcased here. Secondly, Bebop and Rocksteady share the screen with such action-packed humor. Finally, the action pieces are more thrilling and fun to watch.

However, it does not necessarily mean that "Out of the Shadows" is a great movie. The visual effects is still blurry and not realistic, mainly the CGI character of the ugly-looking tentacled brain, Krang. There is also nothing memorable and special about the scenes. But still, if you are a die-hard fan of the series, this movie will transcend your expectations.

VERDICT: "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows" is all but a blast of CGI extravaganza, but thankfully never takes the path of the first movie.
