It's Grease! Sure, it isn't perfect from a writing standpoint but its nostalgia, it's dancing, its performances and, of course, the chart-topping soundtrack soar Grease into the hall of fame. Everyone knows at least one Grease song, probably Grease Lightning, but as time has gone on, I've come to appreciate the ballads of love and of pain more. For, everyone in this film can sing effortlessly and while the dancing is fabulous overall, Travolta effortlessly sways his hips across the screen as if he was Elvis himself.

Of course, praise has been given enough for Newton-John and Travolta in the past. For me, Stockard Channing always stands out. With her viper's tongue and cheeky grin, Rizzo is definitely my favourite character. 'There are worse things I could do' is undoubtedly the best song in the film (no, I am right) in pure terms of talent. Her voice blows Newton-John's out of the water, proving to be one of my favourite musical songs ever.
