When looking at where this franchise has gone, it's easy to see this film with a thick pair of nostalgia glasses. My opinion of this film may even be biased because of this. However, this film has some interesting plot points and great action sequences.The visuals are great. The characters are 100 times more compelling in this film than in the sequels, but still lacks greatly. The film has some corny dialogue and useless scenes. Along with some questionable performances. However, compared to the other films in the franchise this film looks Oscar worthy, and it's worth a watch.
