A critical film in the franchise; proving that the MCU is still more capable than the DCEU in making monster films. In a film that is definitely darker than most MCU films, and one that's probably more of an Avengers film than a standalone Captain America movie. Watching this movie in theatres was a great experience for me. The effects are stunning, and the story is great, however it is also a bit confusing at times. The action sequences in the film are simply amazing. Giving us a superb mega fight that will definitely last in the minds of viewers. This film has a lot of characters! Who sometimes do feel a bit needless, but thanks mostly to the mega fight sequence between them; they manage to stay mostly entertaining. They do also bring great additions such as Tom Holland as Spider-Man and Chadwick Boseman as Black panther; who I believe are gonna have some great solo films this year, and next year respectively. This film has a great villain in Zemo; who unlike most MCU villains is a 3 Dimensional character with intriguing motivations. I love how this film explores Captsin Americas relationship with Bucky and Iron Man like never before. In great performances from Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. The tension between them finally boils down into the most emotionally charged fight we've seen in this franchise, and boy is it great! Overall I do really like this film, and I believe it deserves the ratings and box office it received. However try not to watch it too many times. As at least for me it got old within a 3/4 screenings of it. Still a great film, and well worth a watch.
