A Family Broken.
Not the weakest of the franchise but not the best. Is their anything Vin Diesel can't survive? Prediction for the next installment would be The Rock physically throwing Vin Diesel into space to catch some sort of galactic terrorist.
Despite these ridiculous set pieces that leave the impression that Vin Diesel's character Dom is only a movie away from being able to fly, the most ridiculous plot point is that of the group being able to happily work with not only Deckard Shaw, the antagonist from the 7th movie that killed fellow Family member Han but also his brother Owen who caused them trouble in the 6th installment.
For me though it comes down to whether I enjoyed the movie or not and much like most of the others in the franchise.. This is a fun movie!
