Shyamalan you really messed up this time. To think this is a genuine attempt to capture the brilliant storytelling and excitement of tv show; simply makes want to cry. In the film that definitely put the nail in the coffin for M night Shyamalan's directing career. It absolutely butchers the source material; with some beyond questionable casting choices that simply make no sense. The CGI is just atrocious, and the writing is possibly even worse. This film temporarily destroyed my childhood; which I guess makes me biased against it. But it takes absolutely none of the personality from the characters that fans so adore. This film is exactly why Hollywood shouldn't try to touch our childhood.
