  This movie was exactly what I thought it was going to be, but that isn't a bad thing at all. The film definitely has the trademark Pixar emotion, which is good, since it really made me feel for Dory and many others. The voice acting from everyone was top notch and the animation was absolutely stunning (even know the animation in the short before the film way just so amazing, it felt like a live action film, not animation.) Most of the new characters where great, my personal favorite being Idris Elba's Seal, because I just fucking love Idris Elba. The main thing I was worried about was if Dory could be the lead of the film and not annoy the shit out of me, and for 2/3 if the movie she didn't, but the first act I found her pretty annoying. I also found some characters unpleasant to watch, mostly the octopus, who I truly hated. Overall, I thought this was a great sequal, but if you want to watch the best animated movie if the year so far, go rent Zootopia.
