  • Call them chick flicks or female-driven comedies or whatever you like, but these has been big money-makers in Hollywood. From its early success in "Nine To Five" and the latest "Ghostbusters" movie, it's truly a type of film that has stood the test of time, whether good or bad receptions. By this, "The Hangover Trilogy" scriptwriters have led to the idea in making a "documentary" about the many faces of a 21st century mother in America.

In "Bad Moms," Mila Kunis plays Amy, a working mom who has a typical family. However, she's overworked and eventually finds her husband cheating on her. Seeking to escape her daily life and responsibilities, here comes Kristen Bell and Kathryn Hahn.

There's a great force among these three. Their energy on-screen is both hot and hilarious. Its lineup of talented comediennes definitely raises the bar and showcases the girl-power to their roles. But in a strong ensemble, it's Hahn and Bell whom truly carry the lunacy out of the reality – their characters have the most terrific punchlines out of the many. Moreover, the raucous "Hard R rating" does not overshadow the important themes of motherhood, family and friendship. And while the film takes too long to end, it’s a trio to never forget.

VERDICT: Because of its talented comediennes and realistic approach, Bad Moms works as both a hot 'n' hilarious comedy and a serviceable satire on modern motherhood.
