I do really love this iconic film, however I do understand how at times it can feel a bit heavy-handed, and because that people may have their grievances about the film. However, in my opinion; I think this is a great character building film, and it perfectly captures the very different, and nuanced personalities of teenagers along with problems they face. The teenage angst can definitely throw you off, or it can add to the incredibly engaging characters, and make you enjoy the film even more. Great film, with great characters, for a film that has remained in pop culture for over 30 years.1 member likes this review.
